A 23ª edição do Korean Music Awards foi realizada em 26 de fevereiro de 2026, em Seul, Coreia do Sul, e começou às 20h (horário local). A cerimônia foi apresentada pela equipe da Korean Music Awards Selection Committee e transmitida ao vivo pela plataforma Melon e canal oficial no YouTube.
Os KMAs diferem de outras premiações coreanas porque focam no mérito artístico e qualidade musical, sem considerar vendas, streams ou votação popular — o que permite que artistas mainstream e talentos alternativos concorram em igualdade.
