Carol Steinert has experience in the show and you will love her every word!
What’s up guys? It’s OK? As promised, I’m going to tell you a little bit today about what a K-Pop show in Brazil is like! But first, we need to define some things! There are some types of K-Pop shows and below are the differences between them:
Showcase: Group or band show, without many interactions with fans
Fanmeeting: Group or band show with lots of interaction with fans, calling to the stage, answering questions and playing games
Hi-Touch: When you have the opportunity to give your idol a Hi-5!
Hi-Hug: When you have a chance to hug your idol!
Meet & Greet: It is usually a Hi-touch and also entitled to a photo, depending on the company that is bringing the group / band.
And now that some terms have been clarified, I’ll tell you what it’s like to be on a K-pop show! Well, I’ve been to a fair share of shows, whether K-Pop or not, but I can say that, for sure, the atmosphere of a Korean pop show is completely different! Is it because they are extremely difficult to see often? Why wait so long to sing the songs we love?
Whatever it is, the experience of being in such a show is unbelievable and worth all the effort to pay a little more, to wait and even to sleep in line, something common among the most intense fans of the groups.
Among some shows I’ve been to, were VIXX, BLANC7, B.I.G, VAV, A.C.E, MVP, BTS and MASC! And for you who think that bringing a K-Pop show is that easy, think twice! In order to see large groups as many people ask, we must soooo go support small group shows, really showing that there is an interest on the part of Brazilians in not only commenting on the videos, but in fact going to the shows of the groups we love so much!
And now I leave you a warning! MONT, D.I.P, BLACK6IX, The Rose: all of these are Korean groups that will soon be in the country, as well as others that have not yet been confirmed, so separate your coins because this year K-Pop will leave Brazil on the ground!
