What’s up guys? Carol Steinert around here! I came to talk about one of the biggest and best female groups in the KPOP, which landed in São Paulo on September 9th. Come check out the success of MAMAMOO!
With a brilliant career, well-organized choreography, an extremely powerful vocal and a killer charisma, the group arrived through Chimera Media and filled us with love. These girls are so wonderful! Are we going to know a little of them?
MAMAMOO Girls
Solar or Kim Yong Sun is the leader, main vocalist, visual and the face of the group! She was born on February 21, 1991 and is considered Mamamoo’s ‘‘ mother ’’! One of Solar’s dreams was to become a tour guide in Korea and she is an extremely scared girl! She was the one who created the official music of the moomoos (name of the group’s fandom)!
Moonbyul or Moon Byul Yi is the main rapper and dancer, vocalist and visual! He was born on December 22, 1992 and originally auditioned to be a vocalist, but ended up becoming a rapper! She created the choreography for “Mr. Ambiguous ”and has a tendency to sweat too much! He has a dog named Daebakie and wrote original parts of his rap on the program Immortal Songs!
Wheein or Jung Whee In is lead singer and dancer. She was born on April 17, 1995! His nickname is Jindo Dog, a Korean breed of dog, because they say they look alike. She has a huge crush on Beenzino (South Korean rapper) and loves watching videos of people eating! Wheein loves to draw and has a cat called Ggomo / Kkomo!
Hwasa or Ahn Hye Jin is lead singer, maknae and rapper! He was born on July 23, 1995 and has already recorded vocals for 4MINUTE, former group of Cube Ent. She wrote and composed the song ‘’ My Heart / I Do Me ’’ from Mamamoo’s first album and also the song ‘’ Freakin Shoes ’’ from their Pink Funky album! She loves cooking a lot, so she became the cook of the group, loves listening to old jazz and her favorite singer is Rihanna!
And music recommendations? My favorites are the new ‘’ Egotistic ’’ and ‘’ Decalcomanie ’’, but all of their songs are worth listening to. I hope you enjoyed it and give a lot of love to MAMAMOO!
